With a screen size class of 52", the AQUOS LC-52D64U raises the bar by fitting large screen sizes into incredibly small footprints. By changing the layout of circuits inside the LCD panel and by reducing the number of parts, Sharp engineers developed the Slim-line design, which reduces depth by 25%, allowing placement of the LC-52D64U in virtually any setting. The LC-52D64U utilizes Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View / Black TFT Panel with multi-pixel technology, providing 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio with Enhanced Picture Contrast Technology and 4ms response time. The LC-52D64U features built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners and includes 3 HDMI (version 1.3) inputs, compatible with 1080p signals, a PC input and 2 HD component video inputs. Side terminals are included for wall-mounting convenience as well as RS-232C input for control. | | | Features: | |

Love this TVJan 09, 2010 Had it since the Blackfriday '07 deal at circuit city. Works great, stunning pictures. Native sound is weak. For movies use the 5.1 system thru by rcvr. enough HDMI ports to connect my STB, Rcvr, Flip (when needed)
I Love It!Nov 10, 2009 I bought this TV a little over one year ago from Amazon (it cost more back then!). I absolutely love it. The picture is amazing and I could not be happier with the purchase. The TV was delivered to my house and the company that was contracted helped me set it up to boot. I am very satisfied with the process, from start to finish.
One awesome TVJul 04, 2009 I may be a little biased, as this is my first HDTV, but the 52 inch Sharp Aquos really works for me. I was a little concerned that the picture would look strange at certain angles, like my Samsung monitor does, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Even at rather extreme angles the Aquos looks just fine, the only real difference is that the colors become weaker and not quite as strong. The sound is decent, certainly not home theater good, but the best I've ever heard from a TV. The Aquos has plenty of inputs, both in the back of the TV and on the right hand side. From the TV's menu, there's choices of 7 different inputs. Adjusting the picture is easy enough, with the exception of the "backlight" adjustment on the picture, which is confusing simply because I don't know what it does.
All and all, a great TV, and Amazon has it for the best price I've seen.
Great TV for the price!Jun 17, 2009 At less than $1300.00, this was by far the cheapest 52" LCD HDTV out there AND it's a Sharp Aquos. It looks great, both form and picture, has lots of inputs and works perfectly.
HD channels great pictureMar 08, 2009 HD channels and DVD movies come in great. Picture not so great for non-HD channels. May be typical of all new flatscreen TVs'. Light, easy set up.
